ഉരുകിത്തീരാത്ത 
മെഴുകിനിയുമുണ്ടവിടെ.
കൂട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്.
പൊട്ടിച്ചിതറാന്‍ 
നിനക്കാവില്ല.

ഹിമവര്‍ഷമേന്തിയൊരു കുതിര

ഏതോ ഒരു കോണില്‍ നിന്നല്ലാതെ,
ഹിമവര്‍ഷവും പേറി
കൊമ്പു വച്ചു കെട്ടിയൊരു കുതിര
നടന്നടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

തണുത്തുറഞ്ഞ്,
ചൂണ്ട കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത,
മീനുകള്‍ ചത്തൊടുങ്ങിയ തടാകത്തിലീ-
കുളമ്പടികള്‍ ഓളങ്ങളൂണ്ടാക്കുമോ?
